We need someone to manage the book sales table at the Seminar on Saturday, Oct 14th.

This special volunteer will get to listen and sit in for FREE at the Seminar. This person will need to sit at the book table during the sessions, but they’ll have a wonderful view of the seminar and will be able to listen in on all the information. Think of it! That’s a $50-55 value for so little effort.

Are you a STAR? Do you know someone who is??

Just a friendly reminder / public service announcement:
ANYONE can nominate a GFO Star at our library.

Are you a GFO patron, member, or guest who had a REALLY amazing experience with one of our Research Assistants? Nominate them!

Were you at one of our recent events and thought the speaker or coordinator did just the most wonderful job because their presentation and drive to bestow knowledge changed your life? Nominate them!

Are you friends with a GFO volunteer who can’t stop talking about all the exciting work they are doing at the GFO library even when you’d rather talk about the latest Who Do You Think You Are? episode? Nominate them as the next GFO Star!

The GFO Star nominations are designed to shine the spotlight on all of our wonderful and amazing volunteers for all the wonderful and amazing work they do for the GFO. And guess what, the GFO is ALL VOLUNTEERS, so you’ve got sooo many people to choose from! Star Nomination forms are on top of the Star Nominations box that is on the wall above the “Beverage Park” table just to the right of the GFO’s front entrance as you come in.
Please note, Board Members cannot be stars because they are already technically categorized as supernovas and are about to burn themselves out in a fantastic flaming epic of glory.
