Didn’t you know? Haven’t you heard??

The Washington State Digital Archives welcomes your input everyday!
Firstly, the digital archives at www.digitalarchives.wa.gov are absolutely filled with magical buttons to push and fields to fill out that lead to free images of marriage records, death records, just all sorts of stuff to assist in your family research.

Secondly, if you find a transcription error and feel powerless that such a mistake is just waving its way around the world wide web like that — well, send a message to them at webfeedback@digitalarchives.wa.gov and they’ll apply the necessary fixes. Really! We’ve seen this in action and it’s a must do!!

CALL TO VOLUNTEERS! We need your editorial eyes…

Cemetery

The indexing of the burial cards from Historic Columbian Cemetery (HCC) is almost complete!

A group of volunteers entered the data from the burial cards, but there were a lot of duplicates that we still need help working through. Elizabeth Phillips (of the HCC) needs your help in double-checking the information before it can go live for the rest of the researching world.

If you would like to volunteer a few days with Elizabeth in August at the GFO, the conflicting entries could be corrected and any new burials added.

Please let us know by emailing research@gfo.org to volunteer.
