GiveBig UPDATE
In each of the past 2 years, SGS received over $2100 in donations through the Seattle Foundation’s GiveBig program with over 8% of that in “stretch dollars” from the Foundation. This year Seattle Foundation has already raised over one million dollars in “stretch funds” for this year’s event. These funds will be divided proportionally among the over 1,500 participating non-profits which includes SGS.
This year there are several improvements in the GiveBig program. First, it is possible this year to contribute IN ADVANCE, starting on Monday. April 18th . Donors needn’t wait until May 3rd , the actual date of the event, to make their donations.
Second, one can make individual donations of varying amounts to several organizations at once, thus entering their name, address, and credit card number just once. These improvements make participating in the program easier than ever before.
To make a contribution to SGS via the GiveBig program, go to https://givebig.seattlefoundation.org/ from April 18 through May 3, 2016.
SGS CALENDAR of Events
Unless otherwise indicated all programs will be at the SGS Library, 6200 Sand Point Way NE. Please check the SGS Web Site for additions, changes, and corrections. Programs may be canceled or postponed due to inclement weather.
