GFO’s November STAR! Tom O’Brien |
Tom was a life saver at the fall seminar. He shared his layout map/seating chart to accommodate the record number of attendees. This meant that chairs could be set up correctly once rather than repositioning several times; he served as the AV point man; and he offered to help at the book sales table too. A former Research Assistant, Tom now serves as a co-leader of the Genealogy Problem Solving SIG. He assisted all SIG leaders recently by sending tips for using the RootsWeb mailing list to publicize their meetings. Tom was also instrumental in helping OSP to reunite the urn of David A. Leski (found at a rest stop on I-5) with the family in Illinois. We all thank you Tom! |
