We humbly invite you to partake this year’s Annual Appeal at the GFO.

Dear Members and Supporters:

Did you know that in 2016 we will celebrate our 70th anniversary?

From a small beginning, GFO has grown to become Oregon’s largest genealogy library. But one thing has remained constant: our mission to bring value to our membership by providing quality resources, valuable education, and an environment of community.

All of us at GFO love to break through those pesky brick walls whether our own, those of our members, or the ones brought to us by our library visitors. It’s the reason we devote our time and expertise to our organization; use the generous gifts you provide to make thoughtful purchases of resources, technology, and equipment; and strive to offer outstanding educational opportunities. We do it so you can achieve your family history goals.

We work hard for you, and we’d love to have your support. Please join us in our quest to make targeted improvements, large and small. Your generous participation in our annual appeal is instrumental in our efforts to further our mission, and to help keep GFO strong and vital for years to come.

Please visit our website in the “Announcements” box at the top right for a look at what we’ve accomplished in 2015 and for a glimpse at our plans for the coming year.

Warm regards,

Laurel Smith, President
