Casting Call!! We are in need of your star-blinding talents!
Education Committee – We are looking for new volunteers to help plan programs and events. Most work can be done from home. Examples of the help we need include contacting speakers or helping to plan a seminar or open house. Help can be for one event or ongoing. Please contact education@gfo.org for more information.

Research Assistants – Volunteers are needed especially on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Training is hands-on and you would be working with another experienced person to help you. What better way to learn more about what the GFO has to offer! Please consider giving one day per week, one day every other week, or once a month. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Please contact volunteer@gfo.org for information about your impending stardom today.

To everyone who’s donated this year, thank you so much for your contributions and considerations.

If you haven’t already, consider giving before the end of the year! At least consider the tax break you’d be missing on your 2015 filing if you don’t donate. As a 503(c)(3) non-profit organization, all gifts, devices and contributions made toward the GFO are tax deductible.

Click here for a link to our Annual Appeal letter for more information. Or simply donate via your Paypay account by sending any amount to payments@gfo.org.

Why does this post as Washington State Genealogical Society?

    • Charles Hansen says:
