Come give some, or all for the really ambitious, of your day on Giving Tuesday at the GFO! Why?? Because we need your help, as the GFO is an all volunteer-run organization.
We’re having a full day Work Party on Nov 29th, with coffee, tea and pastries in the morning, followed by pizza and beverages in the afternoon.
No sign-up needed, just please come on by as and when you can! Every little bit helps, and as always, THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!!!

What’s Happening this Week at the GFO?

SATURDAY, November 19th
DNA Basics 9am – noon

This group is being formed to help attendees understand the basics of genetic genealogy. Facilitators Emily Aulicino and Lisa McCullough help attendees of this group (and that could be you!) discover whether their genealogical paper trail is accurate through the science of DNA testing. It is recommended that you download both the HANDOUT and the EVALUATION forms beforehand and bring them with you to the meeting.

GenTalk at the GFO 2pm – 4pm

Featuring Kate Eakman on Native American Research Using Census Records! This is a free event, open to the public. Come on out!!
SUNDAY, November 20th
Library Work Party 9am – noon

As usual, Sunday morning is Work Party morning! Come on out to help us continue our efforts to get all our newest books labeled and ready for circulation! Any time you can give is greatly appreciated. We’re continuing to make really great progress. Please help us keep up the momentum!!

Family Tree Maker Group 1pm – 3pm

Come learn the secrets of this program and become the superuser you always knew you could be! Facilitated by Laurel Smith.
