This is a postcard to my grandmother Anna (Dillingham) Hansen from Jennie (Cronk) Dillingham wife of Erlon Dillingham who was the first cousin to Anna. It was postmarked December 28th 1910 a few months after my grandparents had moved to Columbus, Montana. They were running the creamery at Columbus.
Lovely card. Writing is becoming a lost art. I am trying to do more writing. My mother, Vivian Washburn Weddle, died April 7, 2018, and she wrote many letters and everyone loved getting them. I will carry on that custom. Its those wonderful letters and postcards that we cherish and reread. What will the upcoming generations have-old cell phones with nothing on them? History is being lost.
