“GIVING TUESDAY” IS NOVEMBER 30TH
Seattle Genealogical Society is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization registered in the state of Washington. Membership dues alone are not adequate to sustain our library and activities. We depend upon the generous support of our members and friends to fulfill our mission. Contributions to SGS are tax deductible.

Like the 2020 tax year, this year people who take the standard deduction instead of itemizing on their income tax return can deduction up to $300 of cash donations to charity. Plus this year the maximum deduction amount has increased for a married couple filing jointly to $600. Checks, credit card, debit card, and Paypal are considered cash contributions.

Please remember Seattle Genealogical Society as you plan your year-end charitable giving. Thank you for your support.
