|We will have two (2) Tracks of in-person classes this year plus a Bonus Early-bird Class plus Board of Directors’ Presentation on preparations for a Black History Museum plus Keynote Address by Dr. Joseph Stuart plus a Lunch-time Session with Lanzo Liggins and Danor Gerald, the hosts of PBS Utah’s “Race, Roots, and Culture”. Please join us as we explore and discuss stories of Utah’s history that give us a fuller version of Utah’s history. This year, you can register for the entire conference, the conference AND our Friday evening (16 Sept) Ancestral Remembrance Celebration, pick-a-class where you register for just one or a few classes of your choosing, or virtual attendance (an entire Track of Conference Committee pre-selected classes).|

|Register Here Special Addresses and Panels Board of Directors Presentation: “Building a Black History Museum Foundation: Engagement Is a Building Block” Description: Museums often struggle to step outside of their comfort areas and find approaches to underserved communities. Sema Hadithi African American Heritage and Culture Foundation is confronting that issue head-on, by taking the critical steps of researching and building relationships prior to building a physical museum. This class was originally held on Tuesday 31 May 2022 In-Person as a Crucial Community Conversation. The conference is the final event of the weekend which includes the walking tour and ancestral remembrance celebration on Friday 16 September.|
