FWW 3 of the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War will hold their 4th quarterly meeting Nov 1, 2025 at  Pasco, WA  in the Air Terminal
upstairs conference room.  Member spouses and guests or public also invited.  Meeting led by Camp Commander Clifford Peterson.

 Time; is Saturday, Nov 1 at 11:30 to 12:30 For social gathering and free lunch of Pizza and salad.
Park at short term parking and bring in the parking stub for free parking validation.  Other Camp 3 info at <www.suvpnw.org>

 At 12:30 Business meeting and election of 2026 officers. At 1:00 pm, Doug Jonas of Spokane will present an excellent program on Major Robert Anderson,
the first Civil War Commander of a Civil War battle at Fort Sumter.  The interesting  life of  Anderson will be followed from his
birth in Ky to a military family and service in the Blackhawk Indian War 1832 and Mexican  American War up to his assignment by President Buchanan
To Charleston after Lincoln’s election. Following the meeting, attendees may also choose to attend the  Pasco Aviation Museum 1.5 miles away.

Fort Walla Walla Camp 3 of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War

   The Fort Walla Walla Camp 3 of the SUVCW will hold a Camp meeting (open to the public) on Saturday, Sep 20th 2025 at the Pasco Airport
in upper floor Conference room.   Time: Gather at 11:30 to 12:30 for Ordered lunch and socialization. Food will be provided free (by the Camp) This will be as a pre-ordered selection of Pizza , salad or selected sandwiches plus provided drink.—Also must park in
Short Term parking and bring in parking stub for validation for free parking  -(Since we are buying food).

Commander Peterson will open the Business meeting at 12:30 and then introduce the program at 1:00 with member Keith Deaton speaking on the Civil War
Presidency of Abe Lincoln-16th President.  Interesting insights to be told. Open to members/Spouses and public visitors. Attendees encouraged to bring questions about the person or policies of Abe Lincoln.  Meeting adjourning about 2:30 pm with option immediately after to go a mile away to the  Pasco Aviation Museum- away from  the terminal. A great add-on opportunity after adjournment to complete the afternoon. Parking is free at the Air museum. Fees are free to Veterans and about $5 for seniors. Brother Keith Deaton is a well known Lincoln authority and re-enactor in Washington State.  He taught school as a teacher and administrator. He grew up in
Lind, Wa on a Farm and has just released a book on “Lind Coulee” of the life and times in his era.  Books will be available for purchase at the meeting. Over the years his presentations have been viewed by thousands of people. A guaranteed great experience you do not want to miss..

Fort Walla Walla Camp 3 Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War

Again this year the Fort Walla Walla Camp 3 of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War  will hold their annual Memorial Day remembrance  service (5/26) at Tahoma Cemetery of Yakima at 10:45 to about noon.  The public is invited, with limited seating, visitors are advised to bring a personal lawn chair.  Camp 3 members will lead the service. WVHS Jr ROTC to post the Colors. Will be  music and several brief speakers, a discussion on Decoration Day & on discovering your C.War ancestor, and a gun volley salute and Taps played.
